The Awkward Model Pose

In the name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful

1 thing that I challenged myself this year is to take better pictures. What i mean is to take my pictures taken nicely. So I started Orked Bundle early January and intended to make a preloved series once a week. Last week was le hubby’s turn and this week turns out to be mine! Had many ideas and how to strike a pose but none of it work out! We shoot the handbags and it was kinda weird. But then it was a good thing for me to get out of my comfort zone.

Then i started to exercise! The one thing that I hate doing the most. But seeing my body expanded and i easily felt tired, I need to change my lifestyle for me and my family. So im currently into badminton and jogging. The ultimate aim is to burn the belly fat ass! So that I have a flat stomach. Not in the diet mood though but I tend to avoid eating heavy meals at night. When I look at myself in the mirror, I was like what happened to the XS underweight girl at high school? Where I only wear size 2 but now a size 10? No excuse for being pregnant and having 2 kids tho. I need to look after myself. Self care needed! Kalau bukan aku yang usaha, siapa lagi kan? And also much thanks to Mr Husband who become my personal coach to me. Jog together, exercise together and give words of encouragement! Dapat turun a few kilos is nice.

I don't want to encounter serious health issues at the end of the day. Working at the welfare really exposed me to the society. Illness such as diabetes where you need to inject insulin everyday, kidney failure where you need to undergo dialysis every week, hearts attacks and various cancer can be infected to all people regardless age, gender and race. Even as young as 14 years old can get diabetes! So you see health is a very important and serious issue. So stay healthy and fit for 2019.

The Power of Ukhwah, sisters.

In the name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful

Hello and a happy Monday everyone. Kicking all your Monday blues and start it with a blast. Last weekend was quite fulfilling for me. On Saturday, we had some kind of quarters day where we spend the whole day doing activities! So we happened to cook Nasi Ganja that afternoon. We went to a pot lucked theme where I cooked beef curry, lala cooked chili padi chicken and taufik fried some nuggets and keropok for the kids. And also prepare our drinks!  Then we spend our evening playing badminton and at night i brought the kids to Dataran Keris to play some bubbles and blow off some steam! The kids have so much time and extremely exhausted at the end of the day. And i got to go thrifting! And get some clothes at priced RM2-RM5! What a bargain. It was from H&M, Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger and etc. Those items will be sold at Orked Bundle. I love seeing people eat what i cooked and it truly make me feel happy seeing others happy.

And also stated here at surah al-Anfal ayat 63, Allah SWT berfirman yang bermaksud “Dan Yang mempersatukan hati mereka (orang-orang yang beriman). Walaupun kamu membelanjakan semua (kekayaan) yang berada di bumi, nescaya kamu tidak dapat mempersatukan hati mereka, akan tetapi Allah telah mempersatukan hati mereka. Sesungguhnya Dia Maha Gagah lagi Maha Bijaksana”. I dont know, maybe its inside my genes i love to cook and serve others and make others happy.

On Sunday, we brought the kids to MPO or Freeport Outlet where the kids play at the indoor playground and carousel. It was fun and I got to shop a little, hehehe and cost nothing more than RM100. So we went to Esprit, and i got 1 shawl for RM12, 2 pieces of underwears for RM10 and le hubby’s shirt for RM22. With a total cost at RM44. What a steal! I bet you cant get those prices at any Esprit boutiques ryte? Then we head down to Cotton On and I spend only RM4 at shawl (RM3) and hand phone stickers (RM1). That was my rezeki that day, Alhamdulillah.

So that's it, super blessed i got him as my husband. Who loves to bring me and the kids out. So i hope this week will be great and beneficial one too in sha Allah

Starting 2019, the new enthusiastic you.

In the name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful

This morning, i woke up at 6am freshly awake and ready to roll for the day. I perform my Subuh prayer, changed my kids diapers, make them milk and ironing my working clothes. Then i had 30 mins sparing time and i catch up on my You tube videos

So i turn out to be watching Jessica Neistadt’s 2019 video and was like woahhh! You got me girl, you boost and lift my spirits up! So here’s kinda a short summary of what I’ve learned this morning to be a brand new you for a brand new year.

Declutter your clothes! Stash away unwanted clothes that didn't fit you, sell it on FB or carousell and make some money

Make weekly goals *like what I’ve done today* so you can achieve your new year resolutions at the end of the day

Plan your budget and money. Be wise

Start what you dream of today. Be ahead of others that start tomorrow or next month. Let go of your fears and do not be afraid to get out of your comfort zone.

Let go and move on. Forgive what others done to you or have hurt you. You will feel better and will be proud of yourself.

Well, there’s still some more items that she say in a 15 min video, but this what really stuck and matters in my head for now.

Dear Allah, i really do hope I could achieve what I’ve planned. To prove to my family that i can succeed in 2019. Hope you reading this will pray for me to ya? Ill keep an update step by step on all progress, in sha Allah

2019 Resolutions, lets make it happen!

In the name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful

Wow, I set such high targets in 2019. Merely because I wanna challenged myself to conquer it all. I wanna step forward and achieve and strive for the best. Be it business wise and life goals. I've written it at almost every paper I could find and it was like stuck inside my head. I felt nauseous every time I came to think of it and felt my heart pumping hard, is it normal btw?

So what are we planning? Here it is the major goals
1.   To have RM50,000 end of December, in sha Allah
2.   To go on a holiday to another state. You know backpacking with the kids.
3.   To have my very own driving license.
4.   To be istiqomah in life, perform my daily prayers regularly without amiss. My age is getting older and I need to change!
5.   To lose some weight eventually J hehehe :)
6.   To get serious with my new project, Orked Bundle
7.   To get blogging and instagraming once a week, without fail so I can get creative juices out of my brain.
8.   To penetrate Singapore’s market. I don't know selling cookies or clothes. Cant decide yet, but Im eager to get hold of SG Dollars in 2019.
9.   To help my dear An achieve and pursue his dreams. I need to be a catalyst to help him chase his own dreams! Stay at home and earn some big cash for him. Let him shine in 2019.
10.               I want to repair my Myvi baby again. Replace all parts with new ones and let it shine J
11.               Home makeover! Make my home a minimalist one. You know, white walls, black decors. All minimalist.

That's it! Hahaha quite a handful list kan to achieve them all. But nevertheless, ill try to fulfill them all this 2019. What I've learned is to break them apart and turning it into weekly goals.

So here’s go my weekly goals.
1.   Stashing some notes every day at my round piggy bank. Be it RM1,RM5 or RM10 without fail.
2.   To exercise after work in order to keep my body fit and in shape.
3.   To update weekly thrift collection at Orked Bundle. Catch us at our IG, FB, Carousell and blog.
4.   To be socially active but not too active. Update weekly at my personal blog and the kids ig too! @theaydens

I'm hoping the best, the good health, the bright future for me, hubby and the kids. In sha Allah,

How 2018 ended with gratitude

In the name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful

It’s been a great journey for 2018. Where I finally got close to my ibu, but never really close like before. I have some issues before with my family. and I pray to Allah that it will get better everyday. But I will try to work on it, In sha Allah.
I completed my 3 year grace period in the government sector, Alhamdulillah am waiting for my confirmation letter.
It had been lots of ups and downs in 2018. A hit and run accident happened in a blink of an eye and I was traumatized till today.
I opened durian crepe cake order and it was selling like crazy! But it sold fast only during the durian season J and what else eh?
Celebrating both my son’s birthday as usual. Surprising my hubby with a homemade initial cake for his birthday and ordered from my childhood friend Aliah :)
Opening cookies orders for Raya and deliver it to Singapore and reached amount of sale around RM4000 a month! I get to spend quite a number of clothes for my kids, my husband and myself. Could treat my MIL, umi and ibu all handbags each and also treated my brothers each 1 Esprit shirt including my father’s also.
We also make a comeback for our futsal team RHFT and won 3 tournaments. The futsal team also joined SA Futsal League and was qualified in the finals.
Abg apis got married again this year and the wedding was fun.
Relationship with my cousin’s in Singapore got well.
My MIL got diagnosed with kidney failure and need to undergo dialysis 3 times a week. And this year too I discovered my brother Fais is planning to get married on January. Also I discovered Aida Azlin who gave me some kind of spirit and always share words of wisdom and makes us remember Almighty Allah. I remembered joining 1 seminar held at Putrajaya that changed my life totally. Changing my perspective about Islam, life, positive and miracles.
Lastly before I forget! both my sons got diagnosed with HFMD :(
Was quite a wholesome 2018 and I truly enjoyed most of the times.

I hope 2019 bring the same joy and happiness throughout the year, in sha Allah.
Thank you Allah for the nice incidents happened to me that made me feel so much blessed and grateful. That made me feel safe at my own comfort zone.

Quality time we had.

In the name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful

Last week was a wholesome and fulfilled one. Well spent with my hubs and le kids. We never tend to enjoy much cause lots of things kept messing in our heads be it about business, work and personal stuff.

Deepavali holiday,
We went to Kajang for a wonderful staycation at Saville@Kajang where the kids spent their time swimming and playing with their cuzzies. They were so overwhelmed and had a blast. We planned on going to IOI later that night but then we were all busted dead tired whilst playing in the pool. We slept early cause were simply tired laughing our heads off. Reminiscing old times and caught laughing at tiniest silliest thing we could ever imagine. We called Domino's for dinner and eat hardheartedly. Best released tension time as the kids play all by themselves and we adults get a me and catch up time wholesomely.

Saturday,
Husband got infected by tonsillitis which couldn’t allow him to speak nor eat. His throat is swelling like crazy till affected his gland. It was badly swollen and he couldn’t do anything. We went to pay a visit at the doctor and he gave the strongest dose of antibiotics for him to rest and dose off. While he was resting, me and the kids cooked and baked cookies! I watched Donna Hay Basic to Brilliance at Asia’s Food Channel and was so overjoyed by how easy the recipe looks! So with the essential recipes that I get on hand, I started baking with the kids and we had much fun in the kitchen that I tend to miss those moments. Recipes will be shared on the next blog.

Sunday,
We brought the kids to the park for some outdoor time, riding rented cars for the kids, eating McDonald’s sundae cones and having a whole lot of fun. We didn’t spend much money but the kids are extremely had a whole lot of fun. We got each one of them toys not ranging more than RM10 (hehe) to compliment their good behavior. Kids slept well and I had good time watching SemiFinals Gegar Vaganza without any disruptions. So that’s it, a simple sum up last week. I truly enjoyed every littlest moments that we spend and hoping the kids does as well.

Just a little dua to close this post for now,
DOA: MEMOHON DIBERI KECUKUPAN & MENGHADAPI KESULITAN
(Surah At-Taubah: 129)

Building your relationship with the Quran

picture taken by @ayeshasyahira

Im so optimistic seeing sis Ayesha do the quran tagging. It makes us know the ayats more better and clearer. Makes us close to Allah. Makes us understand what the Quran has to say.

Cukuplah hanya Allah bagiku

I hope i could be a quran tag girl, I hope I can bring myself close to Allah. Kick all those laziness inside of me. Kuatkan dan teguhkan imanku Ya Allah, amin Ya Rabb
